Well we are finally underway on our great adventure. We had to get underway, we really had no choice our friends at Lock One had got together and gave us r final get out of here party.
It was either leave in the am or we are cutting your lines and sending u over the dam.
Actually it was a great time and we felt very good that r friends were there , they know who they are and they will be dearly missed during our great adventure.
Well here we go I was up at 3 am making sure we had everything ready and trying to figure out what did we forget
Lin was sleeping like a dream till I woke her up to see if she needed ANYTHING AT THE HOUSE SHE WAS OVER PLEASED I WOKE HER UP. We got everything set and were ready to depart, it was a tough time for us leaving family and friends behind. We have planned this for three years and just had to leave as hard as it was. We keft the marina at 08:30 and headed north leaving friends and family behind . Had a great ride up the canal and arrived in Whitehall at 17:50 (5:30 for landlobbers)> My sister, brother & sister-in-law came over at 19;00 for cocktails and dinner. We had a great visit.
Our first day of a year long adventure was great the only problem is we only have 364 days left
We had some rain at night but we were all tucked in.
