July 19 Day 7

Well r part came in at 1:30 we installed it works great we now have a piece of mind (whats left of mine) that we have good oil pressure. Got Goofin Off ready and shoved off at 2:30. We found the Canadian customs and docked the boat at their dock, not a nice dock.Gave them all r paper work and a list of r booze. They took everything inside. Canadians came and went and we waited. They finally came out put on gloves and said we r boarding the boat u will have to get off. We went below and picked up r money and got off. They looked thru everything even went into the engine room. Sure good thing we found some good hiding spots. After 45 minutes we were again under way to Saint Jean on the Richelieu River. Nice ride, river is weedy in spots which sets the depth finder off, charts said good water so on we went. Lin was doing the chart reading and was getting to be very good at pick out the bouy numbers and charting r course. We arrived at a town dock just before the Chambly Canal. We had some Canadians behind us on the dock which were very entertaing as they danced thru the night. Nice to have the black glass on the back deck so we can see out but people can't see in. Tomorrow we will find the dealer for Garmin and get r blue chip for Canada.

Really feel like our adventure has now started as we arrive in O'CANADA

Shoving off for now.

Lin & Rich
