Don't know how you guys have been following us missed it but I was saying day 33 34 instead of 83 84, must be the cold weather or you gave up on us.
Well today we started out in the 50's and ended the day in the 70's real nice ride. We only had one lock to do and with out any wind it was a breeze. We planned on anchoring but both places we figured on were to low on the depth. We figure since the Mississippi is flooding they are holding the dams back on the Illinois which seems to be below normal pool. We ended up traveling 43.5 miles today well over our planned mileage. Tomorrow if all goes well we will only travel 17 miles to Chillicothe. We are tied to an abandon lock stone wall that was built over 100 years ago. We are at a place called Henry Harbor Marina. We are 196 miles from the Mississippi River, we hope the river will be back to normal by the time we get there in 4 to 5 days.
