Oct 15th Day 95

Made it thru the night tied to the barge on the river. Every time a barge went by at night it gave us a pretty good ride and the docks creaked and cracked. We untied at 8:45 and headed back out into the river current and down stream we went. With the current we picked up 4 or 5 mph which also gave us better fuel economy(yeah). We traveled down river 42.1 miles to the Kaskaskai River mouth an turned up that river and tied to the lock wall. It is a free wall before the lock which can hold a few boats for overnight. We got here about 12:30, short day today but tomorrow will be some 70 miles before we can find a safe place to stay the night. The weather has been great as of late with good sleeping temperatures and 60-70 during the day with plenty of sun shine.
