Oct 19th Day 99

Easy day today. Called the lock at 7am to try and get on the schedule to lock thru between barge traffic. The reply was be ready in one hour and we will get you thru, what a great piece of news. We listened on the radio as the lock master gave the list of barges and the order of passage. Some barges were told it would be a 24 hour wait. The lock master got us in and out and we were figuring on being there all day. We traveled 2.5 hours to our next anchorage a big 16.3 mile day. Got a lot of boat work done and tomorrow we will head down the Cumberland river to either another anchorage or to Eddy Creek Marina our next destination and from there we will cruise Lake Barkley and also head by car to Nashville. Life is tough decisions decisions.
