Today was an in port day and not even due to the weather. We took our bikes over to the museum today and what a nice place. We got there around noon and did not leave till after 4pm. It was very interesting and had things from the history of the Chesapeake boat building days to the fossils found in the Calvert Cliffs. They had the original light house from Drum Point which is one of the few surviving screwpile lights left on the bay. It was a neat light house with room for the keepers family to live with him. There was a lady who was born in the light house while her grandfather was the keeper and her parents lived there while they built their house. When she passed away in her 80's she left $45,000 to help keep the light house for tourist to visit. It was real interesting with two floors for living and then stairs to the actual light. From the top we could see our boat across the river. Bikes are put back in their travel bags and we are ready to head to Annapolis in the morning. It is about a 46 mile run and the weather looks pretty good for the trip.
