Today is the Marathon Seafood Festival, a little cool again but is suppose
to be in the 70's later. We mounted the bikes and headed over to the festival
which was probably a mile ride. The place was packed and had hundreds of vendors
and live music all day. Of course there was a beer wagon and lots of food. I gave a try to conch chowder and fritters. At dinner Lin had fish and I had the lobster. Have to admit it was good but not as good as the Maine lobster. We spent about 5 hours there and had a good time. I just had to get a T shirt and Lin got earrings and a bracelet. There were tons of things that were nice, good thing we don't have that much room in the boat. When we got back we went up to the bar and listened to some more music. Long day and we lose an hour of sleep. Be nice to have a longer day but won't be able to get underway until later in the AM. We are catching up on laundry this morning and going to do some groceries later. We will either head out tomorrow or Tuesday and will probably anchor at Tarpon Basin decisions decisions.
