We had some real strong winds last night with gusts up in the 30 knot range. It made for a rough night and a lot of noisy lines. We got up a few times to adjust and check lines, everything was fine but it still is hard to sleep. Today the winds are still in the mid to high teens so we decided to stay here one more day instead of a rough ride to our next port. We have changed plans after doing some research on Sarasota and will bypass that port and head to Venice next. It is about 35 miles from here and hope the weather will allow us to travel tomorrow. Sarasota had some nice museums but nothing that caught our eye as a do not miss. Here at Twin Dolphins we just changed to a weekly rate so if need be we can stay another two days without paying. We have seen everything there is to see here and have walked all the streets. Now our stay will be up to King Neptune and Mother Nature.
