Beautiful morning no fog at all this morning. We were underway at 8:40, it was a little cloudy and the sun kept getting behind the clouds. Saw some beautiful camps along the shore today. Everyone of them are raised up on stilts for the flood waters and we mean high and the banks are high. We did one lock today the Howell Heflin Lock which dropped us 32'. Right after the lock was our anchorage for the day. We traveled 21.7 miles today but the river was so winding we probably only covered 10 miles as the crow flies. At the anchorage there was a log with about 6 turtles sunny on it. It was in the 70's today even with the clouds. We are anchored in a place called Tombigbee Ox Bow. Tomorrow we have 42 miles before the next anchorage, that will put us 7 miles North of Demopolis where we hope to get dockage and electric to cook the turkey and fixins.
