April 10 Day 270

Up and out of Rivers Edge at 9am with the sun shining and in the 70's. We traveled 35.3 mile thru some beautiful waterways with great houses from small to HUGE. The weather was great and the bright sun was on our starboard side as we headed North. Heading North the sun never gets really in your eyes which is great. We rolled into the Palm Cove Marina around 1:30 and had to fuel. We picked up another Looper on the way so we had 4 boats to fuel one at a time. Took us about 2 hours to get us all fueled and docked. Air conditioner on and getting cooled down. The fuel was $3.93 per gallon and the dockage was $1.55. We went to publix to pick up a few things then we all went to a nice Mexican Restaurant for dinner, it was very good. We talked with our friends Tom and Elizabeth and plan on hooking up with them tomorrow. Looks like Lin and I will travel 60 miles to Brunswick Georgia tomorrow to meet with them. Carlton, Becky, Jim and Brenda will stop at Cumberland Island to see the wild horses. Hopefully we will meet up with them again around Savannah or some where along the way home. We will miss their company but we must push toward the cold North and hope it is warm when we get there. Lin & Rich Palm Cove Marina Jacksonville, Florida
